We believe it is important for the terminally ill members of our society to be cared for in safe, nurturing environments. Our relationship with the Hope Institute, the Caribbean’s only palliative centre for terminally ill cancer patients, began some years ago. In the past we fully refurbished the private wing of the Institute, outfitting new bathrooms and installing a new water heater. This year we completed construction of an Oncology Pharmacy to serve the Institute’s patients, in addition to refurbishing the facility’s Treatment Room and the Storeroom. The official opening of the Pharmacy will take place later this year. We hope to continue to be of service to some of the most vulnerable members of our society for many years to come.
